The Center for Integrated Evangelism in the Amazon – CEIA, was founded on October 4, 1989, but registration at the notary only took place on August 17, 1990, with Pr. Jedilson Rodrigues as its first president. The first meetings took place in the members own homes, since there was no temple. Later, it changed its name and the Comunidade Evangélica Integrada da Amazônia – CEIA was founded, the church itself was founded on January 29, 1992 and its registry office was registered on December 14 of the same year.In Tomé-Açu, the community began on April 15, 2007, with the vision of the cell church and the apostolic discipleship model (MDA), bases that make up its growth and multiplication through the development of this vision, “the church has reached and taken the word of God to those who are hungry and thirsty for his presence”, as said by Pr. Lucivaldo Gusmão.Today the church is in expansion, with works started in the neighborhoods of Novo Horizonte, in Quatro-Bocas and in the neighborhood of Portelinha in Tomé-Açu.
